How is JEECUP 2020 Result Prepared?

The result for the UP Polytechnic entrance exam is compiled based on the final answer key. The score of the candidate is calculate
as per the marking scheme which is further used for determining the state open rank of the candidate. You can check the process of computation of JEECUP 2020 score from below:
Step 1: The options marked in JEECUP final answer key is taken into consideration for calculation of score.

What After the Declaration of JEECUP 2020 Result?

After the declaration of JEECUP Result 2020, the candidates who have obtained marks equal to or greater than the cut-off marks are declared as qualified.
Based on the state open rank obtained by the candidate, they are shortlisted to appear for the counselling round(s). Admission is granted
solely based on their performance in the entrance exam. Furthermore, the Council, gives preference to the state domicile candidates for admission and if the seats are vacant, the rest of the
candidates, i.e. other state candidates, are considered for admission.

JEECUP 2020 Admission Preference

The Council has specified that the candidates who fall under these categories are preferred for admission. These categories are:
  1. Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from the Institute situated in Uttar Pradesh (UP) or whose parents are domicile of UP or Mother / Father
    is an employee of Centra Govt.. and currently posted in UP.
  2. If the seats are vacant after the admission of the above-said candidates, then the admission will be open for the rest of the qualified candidates.
  3. Foreign candidates have to be nominated / recommended by their own Country and nominated / recommended / agreed by the Govt. of India to be considered for admission.

JEECUP 2020 Counselling

The aspirants who have passed the examination by acquiring the minimum qualifying marks can participate in JEECUP Counselling 2020. In the counselling process, the candidates need to first register and do choice filling for
branches and institutes. For the choice filling process, the candidates need to select the branch and institute as per their preference.
