Petersburg Climate Dialog

This was the eleventh session of the first Virtual Climate Dialogue, the Peterberg Climate Dialogue, which has been hosted by Germany since 2010 to provide a platform for informal high-level political discussions focused on international discussions on climate and the advancement of climate action.

International Financial Services Centre Authority

Ministry of Finance, Government of India has set up the International Financial Services Centre Authority (IFSCA) through a notification. The Headquarters of the International Financial Services Centre Authority will be located at Gandhinagar in Gujarat. It will regulate financial services and products such as insurance contracts, deposit contracts and financial institution securities approved by regulators such as RBISEBI and IRDAI.

Jal Shakti Abhiyan activities to be expanded during monsoon season

The activities of National Water Power Campaign will be expanded by the Government of India in the coming monsoon season to enhance water conservation efforts. Priority drinking water and sanitation works will be given under Mgnrega work during lockouts by ministry of Home Affairs.  
The flagship water conservation scheme, Jal Shakti Abhiyan 2019 was launched in 256 water-stressed districts across the country.

Cyber attack escalates due to work from home

The Technical Intelligence Agency under the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO) , national security advisor to the Prime Minister's Office, has warned against cyber attacks on employees working from home. The attacks may be due to the rise of land-restriction restrictions and the exemption given to the employees.

Jagannath Vidya Divena Scheme has been launched by Andhra Pradesh

The state government of Andhra Pradesh launched the Jagannath Vidya Divena scheme on 28th April 2020. The scheme is a fee reimbursement scheme, which will benefit about 14 lakh college students in the state. Fee reimbursement will be made in four instalments in the mother's account of the student from the academic year 2020-2021.

Anti-Laparosi drug trial approved by DCGI CSIR

Clinical trials on anti-laparosi vaccine Mycobacterium (MW) have been commissioned by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to ascertain whether the vaccine can be used for Covid-19 vaccination. Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) has approved CSIR to conduct clinical trials of mycobacterium (Mw), an anti-laparosi vaccine for Covid-19 treatment.
